City at Night
We went and checked out the Symphony of Lights, Hong Kong's nightly light show which sees many of the buildings on the downtown waterfront light up to music.
We watched it from the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront on the Kowloon side near the Avenue of Stars....which apparently has stars for Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan, but we didn't feel like walking all the way down to see them.
As you can see our camera is not cut out for night time light show photos, but you get the idea! You can see some really cool photos here: www.tourism.gov.hk/symphony/english/gallery/gallery.html
We caught the MTR there.
Those trains seem to go on forever!
After the light show we went to a pub called Ned Kelly's (after the famous Australian outlaw) and had some wine and wings and listened to some live jazz. It was funny because just before the wings came out the waitress brought us some red wine vinegar, ketchup and HP sauce....not your typical wing condiments.
Then we headed to a bar in Lan Kwai Fong called Beirut for another drink and the sheesha pipe....don't worry it was only fruit flavored tobacco inside:)
