View from the Peak

One day we took the Peak Tram up to Victoria Peak for an amazing view of Hong Kong. The tram has been in operation since 1888 and runs on a cable railway that, in some spots, goes pretty much vertical up the 373-metre mountainside.

It was pretty intense! Not for the faint of heart, but well worth the awesome 360 degree view.

Meeting 007 at the top made the trip well worth our while...lol.

It was very windy up there!!!

After the tram we walked through a nice park to Pacific Place to check out the coolest supermarket on earth, the Great Food Hall.

I can't believe I'm admitting this, but I have to say that I think this was probably my favorite thing that I saw on my trip. It was one of the coolest places I have ever been. Everything was immaculately displayed and you could try samples of anything you wanted. They had special sections for cheese, wine, tea, chocolate, olive oil and balsamic vinegar, where you could try pretty much anything you wanted. I was too embarassed to take photos in a grocery store, but you can check the place out at www.greatfoodhall.com/store_guide/index.htm
