Casinos & Fortresses

Apparently Macau is like the Vegas of China and there were lots of different casinos all over the place



Because it used to be inhabited by the Portuguese, some areas had a really European feel and were really beautiful.

I love the cobble stone streets! It reminded me of Lisbon.

Here is Mount Fortress, which was built in 1617-26, I read that the canons were only used once, when the Dutch invaded Macau in 1622.


Everywhere we went the Asian tourists were always flashing the peace sign the pictures they took....so this is me....making fun of them!



There were some really beautiful flowers at the top of the fortress.
