K-MAC & J-HOLE'S BIRTHDAY DINNER

We celebrated the big 26 with my "little" brothers at the Boathouse.

After a huge feast there was still room for mud pie!

Mom & Pat were all smiles.

Kevin and his date Pat....if your girlfriend can't make it, naturally her brother is the next best thing! I hear he puts out too.

Kevin or Joel? Can you tell the difference?? Hopefully Tiffany can! Here's what it would look like if she had met Kevin first.

Mr. GQ in one of his new suits.

Here's what it would look like if Tiffany had met my mom first...ha ha just kidding!

Joel planning the right time to undo his pants so he doesn't explode.

New Years Eve

Not too much to report this year.

Yummy dinner at the Boathouse complete with a chocolate fondue for dessert!

Fabulous company...

Lots of bubbley...

And a Britney Spears inspired wardrobe change halfway through the night....don't worry, unlike Britney, I managed to keep my unmentionables covered. Ha ha!

Help Clean Up Stanley Park!

I'm sure most of you have heard that all of the crazy wind storms and rain lately have left Stanley Park totally devasted. Canada's new environment minister, John Baird, was quoted as saying, "This just looks like an environmental war zone," and apparently park board crews are still assessing the damage which includes thousands of trees that have been knocked down and caused landslides in the park. I'm pretty sure this crazy snowstorm that we're having right now isn't going to help matters!

The cleanup and replanting bills are expected to run into the millions and so far the provincial and federal governments have not stepped up to the plate with any funding for restoration.

I just love Stanley Park and it's so sad to see it in such a state of disrepair. They have started a Stanley Park Restoration Fund and I thought it was worth mentioning in case anyone was interested in helping out.

All donations over $50.00 are tax deductable. I'm going to make a donation. There's more info here on how to do so in case you'd like to help out too: www.city.vancouver.bc.ca/parks/parks/stanley/donation.htm
