Parade of the Lost Souls

On Saturday night Darren put on some devil horns and we headed down to Commercial Drive and checked out the Parade of the Lost Souls. It was an awesome event that we attempted to capture with our camera's very poor night vision capabilities!

There were lots of really cool fire performers.

And tons of people on stilts in crazy costumes.

All sorts of houses decorated all spooky and tons of people just cruising around in all sorts of costumes taking in the sights. We had a great time checking it all out.

Happy Halloween!

After checking out the Lost Souls we headed back to the house to hook up with Sarah cause she just flew in for a visit, then we wandered up the street to a Halloween party at Morneau's.

Darren was one of the "baseball fury" from one of his favorite movies growing up "Warriors"....which if you have not seen is pretty hilariously cheesy. I was a dark angel (too bad my halo was busted).

No party would be complete without Pat taking some of his clothes off, as his poor sisters begged us to make him stop.

James' sweet Wolverine costume.....size 8 in the kids department!

Kevin having his teets suckled on by Ali G and lady bug Sarah.

RESPECT!

There was Burgon and McNeney domination at this party.

What does Winnie the Pooh love even more than honey??? Nicotine and beer!

Nice wings!

Darren and his buddy Steve sporting my sweet make up skills...ha ha. They look like a KISS baseball team.

Here we are harassing Tiffany near the end of the night trying to drag her back to the party with us. It was already 3am, so she wasn't having any of it!

At the end of the night Kevin fell asleep suckling on his own teet.

Holy Babies Batman!

Well it has been a busy few weeks, mostly spent visiting all of the sweet new babies that keep arriving. There must have been something in the air last winter!

Our first visit was Georgia Presley Penn, Sheila's baby.

Here she is with Steven & Sara.

Here is my new second cousin Annie Rose Heffner, Susie & Ty's baby

More pictures to come soon, after we smash our computer to pieces and buy a new one:)

Clair Noelle Rosenberg (hopefully I didn't butcher the spelling), Keith & Sarah's baby.

And finally a boy! Trevor Craig Hudson, Karen & Russ's baby, who was 9 pound 11 ounces. WOW! I bet Karen's glad that's over!

They are all very sweet and cute and fun to hold.....especially when they are sleeping:)

Weekend Getaway

Just got back tonight from Keats Island, which is about a 10 minute boat ride from Gibsons and man was it beautiful! Adele and I went over there to stay with Leanore (the lady we work with on the Gastown Show n' Shine) at her "cabin" which was actually more like an absolutely gorgeous home. I hope to have some pictures up soon once I figure out this new picture program thing....I'm just a tad technologically challenged!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Here is a new way to prepare your Thanksgiving Turkey....

1. Cut out aluminum foil in desired shapes.
2. Arrange the turkey in the roasting pan, position the foil carefully
3. Roast according to your own recipes and serve.
4. Watch your guests' faces.

Everytime I see this picture it cracks me up, so I had to post it!!

I have been super busy lately so I have been slacking a bit on updating the blog! Hopefully I will get some pictures up next week. Darren and I are heading up to Whistler tonight to spend Thanksgiving with my Mom, Pat, Joel, Tiff, Kev and Liz, so we are very excited about that! While we are up there we will get to visit Taralyn and Jason too.

Then Sunday night we will head back for Thanksgiving dinner at Gramma's house. Auntie Pauline is cooking a bird and we are really looking forward to gobbling up lots of turkey there!!! Hope you all have a great holiday!
